decades, the out-of-home-entertainment industry had offered two annual
trade shows in which to conduct business. These shows focused on similar
segments of the industry. Both shows were quite successful in providing
commendable conventions. However, given the state of the economy, and
at the reverence of both represented memberships, the time has come to
unite the industry and move forward in a positive direction.
The
2010 Amusement Expo will initially focus on combining the attendee and
exhibitor bases of both the AAMA-owned Amusement Showcase International
(ASI), conducted in the spring, and the AMOA-owned AMOA International
Expo, which ended its decades-long run of fall expositions at the
conclusion of the 2009 event.  Also for 2010, Fun Expo, the show co-owned by AAMA and AMOA, along with IAAPA will share exhibit space with the new show.
